Become a specialist
Work on Lumenas a specialist.
Lumen customers make images with AI and sometimes need a person to finish them: retouching, brand visuals, campaign sets and custom pieces. Apply once, set your own minimum price, and get hired from inside the studio.
How applying works
- 01
Read and accept the agreement
The Specialist Agreement sets out how hires, delivery, disputes and pay work. You accept it before anything else.
- 02
Describe yourself
Your first name (the only name customers see), a headline, a short bio, an optional portfolio link and your minimum price per hire.
- 03
Pick your skills
Choose up to 6 services you want to be hired for. They become the services on your profile.
- 04
Take a short quiz
The questions are drawn from the skills you picked. The pass mark is 70%.
- 05
Confirm age and country
You must be 18 or older. We check your date of birth and don't store it. Applications from sanctioned countries are refused.
- 06
Review and submit
The Lumen review team decides within 5 business days and emails you.
What we ask for
- Your first name, a headline and a short bio
- An optional portfolio link (it helps the review and isn't shown publicly)
- A minimum price per hire, from 100 to 20,000 credits
- Your date of birth (checked, not stored) and your country of residence
- No identity documents
How review works
The Lumen review team reads your answers, your quiz and your portfolio link, and decides within 5 business days. You get the decision by email and on your specialist desk. Until it is approved, your profile is not listed.
How pay works
Customers pay in credits when they hire you. The credits are held until the customer accepts your delivery, or it is accepted automatically 7 days after delivery. Your share is then owed to you, and you request a payout to your card once you are owed €50.00. Your share and the payout terms are set out in the Specialist Agreement.
